Senior Product Designer - Digital Experience Expert

We're looking for a skilled Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Haven. As a key member of our Product Design team, you will play a pivotal role in designing exceptional customer experiences across our digital platforms. With a strong focus on user-centered design principles, you will work closely with our Digital team to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that meet our business goals.

Your Opportunity:

To learn, develop, and become an expert in a key area of our business by:

  • Designing great products that are easy to use and achieve business goals by understanding our guests and users we're designing for
  • Exploring design options collaboratively with product managers, delivery teams, and users
  • Designing consistency sitewide experience
  • Embracing and evolving the Haven Design System, encouraging reuse
  • Embracing challenges and inspiring new ways of thinking, leading delivery teams to create great user experiences for web interfaces and applications
  • Taking an active, hands-on role in leading concepts with team members, providing design direction to other designers, and working with software engineers to implement designs into deliverable products
  • Understanding business goals and translating them into unique design/creative solutions
  • Supporting business goals and product KPI through UX/UI design
  • Mentoring and managing more junior members of the team

What we'd like you to bring:

  • Proven design experience for large brands, in-house, agency, or freelance
  • Experience of mentoring more junior designers, or the ability to
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices, web standards and layouts, typography, and color, and web usability standards
