Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance Planning:
• Schedule routine equipment services and ensure all paperwork is audit-ready.
• Coordinate with production to arrange machine downtime for servicing. - CWorks CMMS:
• Implement software updates and generate weekly PPM/Condition-Based Monitoring Schedules for machines.
• Create and implement new maintenance schedules and ensure the asset register is up-to-date. - Compliance:
• Plan and coordinate statutory insurance inspections of equipment and monitor corrective works related to L8 - Cooling Towers, Domestic Water Systems, and Chlorine Dioxide.
• Ensure all new and current equipment are food-safe and compliant with company procedures. - General Admin:
• Monitor engineering attendance and overtime, and ensure all relevant departments are advised when contractors are working within their area.
