The Learning Solutions Analyst plays a critical role in designing and implementing training solutions that drive performance improvement. This individual will work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop engaging and effective learning content.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis and design requirements for learning solutions, ensuring they meet customer needs and expectations.
- Utilize technology to identify and collect training data, informing learning interventions and improving overall performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate existing role/job competences and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in writing course design documentation, ensuring it meets VPS quality standards.
- Report project status to senior leadership, providing timely updates on progress and any challenges encountered.
- Liaise with customers' key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and deliver presentations to senior technical and managerial levels, showcasing the value of our learning solutions.
- Conduct interviews, facilitate workshops, and design questionnaires to support key training analysis requirements.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Working knowledge of the ADDIE process and instructional systems design.
- Experience in role/job analysis and training design, with a focus on business process improvement.
- Ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide learning solutions using a blend of learning modalities.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer relationship skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of learning technologies, blended learning programs, and adult education principles.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and relational databases.
- ISO and Six Sigma certifications, with a strong understanding of quality processes.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge and application of DSAT (Defence Systems Approach to Training) methodology or equivalent.
- Consulting experience, with a focus on training and development.
Required Education:
- Demonstrate qualification or practical experience in instructional systems design, organizational development, human performance technology, adult education, or related areas.
- University degree or equivalent experience, with a strong academic record in a relevant field.
