Materials Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner to join our dynamic team at Samworth Brothers Limited.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that materials and packaging are available to meet demand, through effective ordering and inventory control processes.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with internal and external parties, including suppliers and hauliers, to maintain high levels of service and efficiency.
- Build relationships across site and business units to drive collaboration and improve processes.
- Place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries to meet production demand.
- Monitor department KPIs to identify resource stock levels, minimize waste, and optimize inventory.
- Extensive knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Good attention to detail and numeracy skills.
- Educated to GCSE/A Level or equivalent.
