Site Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our Infrastructure project team, you will be responsible for coordinating site engineering control and setting out activities, ensuring a safe working environment, and providing information to operatives and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
- Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors.
- Complete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as required.
- Undertake material reconciliations.
- Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
- Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.
- Produce D & D site sketches.
- Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining the as-built records.
About You:
- Ability to work safely.
- Read & Interpret data and drawings.
- Confident with Standard setting out techniques and ability to use Level and EDM with knowledge of GPS preferred.
- Flexible attitude to work.
- Problem solving skills.
