We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to work with children in Reception to Year 1 at a primary school in Loughborough. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and external professionals to promote inclusive practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on Special Educational Needs.
  • Experience working with children in primary education, particularly in Reception and Year 1.
  • Strong understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate approach with a passion for helping children thrive.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Long-term contract with opportunities for extension or 'as and when'.
