We're seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our Sales Division at our Head Office in Knutsford. As an Internal Sales Engineer, you'll collaborate with the sales team to develop sales of a particular product range, providing sales support to the Field Sales Team and assisting with quote preparation and product information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries verbally or in writing, evaluating each enquiry technically and commercially to offer the correct products.
  • Monitor the Quotation Process in conjunction with other departments, investigating costs with the purchasing department.
  • Promptly follow up on enquiries to maximize order intake, providing support for the External Sales force, Distributors, and Agents.
  • Assist with Customer Visits, both internal and external.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a dynamic and innovative team member who can regularly identify opportunities and instigate improvements to working practices. You should be IT literate, have a proactive approach to your work, and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Experience in selling technical products.
  • Competence in reading engineering drawings.
  • Management of a portfolio of international customers.
  • Initiative and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance a high workload while maintaining tight deadlines.
  • Ownership of tasks and responsibility for your own work.
