About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administration team, you will provide a welcoming and confidential reception service to clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and undertake clerical duties requested by managerial and clinical staff within the health centre.
  • Deal with requests, incoming calls, and enquiries and forward onto the relevant personnel as appropriate.
  • Book and notify patients of appointments.
  • Type reports and correspondence.
  • Implement and maintain adequate filing and follow-up systems.
  • Undertake general clerical duties including the collection, distribution, and posting of mail.
  • Ensure that manual and electronic records are maintained and up to date, including filing of documents in health records and facilitating the smooth and timely transfer of records in and out of the area as required.
  • Provide members of the public with supplies available from the health centre.
  • Travel to and work from other bases within the organization to carry out administration support.
