Job Title: Human Factors Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Factors Senior Consultant to join our team at Assystem GmbH. As a key member of our Human and Organisational Factors team, you will play a crucial role in the continued growth and development of our business.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Human Factors, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in the application of Human Factors to safety-critical domains. You will be responsible for leading Human Factors projects in the nuclear industry, as well as supporting projects in other industries. You will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality technical projects, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills in technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Human Factors projects in the nuclear industry, including Human Factors Integration, Human Reliability Assessment, and substantiation.
  • Develop and implement Human Factors strategies to improve safety and efficiency in safety-critical domains.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality technical projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of our Human and Organisational Factors team, including mentoring and training junior staff.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in the application of Human Factors to safety-critical domains.
  • At least 5 years' experience applying Human Factors skills and knowledge within the UK Nuclear Industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Human Factors, including Human Factors Integration, Human Reliability Assessment, and substantiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
