As a Driver at a Barchester care home, you'll provide transportation services that help the organization deliver high-quality care and support to its residents. You'll be responsible for safely transporting residents, staff, and visitors, and maintaining the vehicles in excellent condition.

About the Job

The Driver role is an essential part of our mission to provide person-centered care and support to our residents. As a Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and experience while being transported.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation services to residents, staff, and visitors
  • Maintain the vehicles in excellent condition to ensure safety and reliability
  • Ensure that all necessary documents and records are up-to-date and accurate

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include free learning and development opportunities, automatic enrolment into our profit share scheme, and a range of holiday, retail, and leisure discounts.

Requirements
  • A clean driving license
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and infection control training
