Learning Technologist Assistant

The Assistant Learning Technologist will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and delivery of King's digital education initiatives. This includes assisting with the effective use of learning technologies, providing advice and guidance on the use of Moodle and other learning platforms, and collaborating with academic and professional services colleagues to embed learning technologies in teaching, learning, and assessment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the management team and Learning Technologists in the successful delivery and implementation of digital education applications.
2. Assist with the design, development, and evaluation of King's digital education initiatives, including the Essential Digital Skills Programme.
3. Provide high-quality training and guidance on the use of learning technologies, including Moodle and other platforms.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective learning technologies strategies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Technology Enhanced Learning or Education, or equivalent experience. You should also have practical knowledge of VLEs and learning technologies, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, you should have a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to prioritize a varied workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
