Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Reablement Support Worker to join our team at Wiltshire Council. As a Reablement Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence and confidence in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support to individuals in their homes, helping them to achieve their goals and regain their independence.
  • Work closely with occupational therapists to develop and implement reablement plans that meet the individual's needs.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support individuals to take control of their own lives, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and effective care package.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work on a rota basis between 7am and 10pm, 365 days a year.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
