We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a Cardiothoracic Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to adult inpatients with varied and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions, including those undergoing cardiothoracic or major general surgery.
- Monitor and provide appropriate physiotherapy services to the adult Intensive Care Unit.
- Manage clinical risk within your caseload and ensure effective communication and management of potential risks.
- Liaise with nursing staff and assess or deal appropriately with new admissions.
- Provide assistance to weekend colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration and CSP membership.
- Proven broad experience in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, including acute respiratory, critical care, general surgery, and general medical caseloads.
- Knowledge of specialist devices appropriate to respiratory care.
