Job Title: Bank Cardiothoracic Physiotherapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a Bank Cardiothoracic Physiotherapist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to adult inpatients, focusing on cardiothoracic patients with complex cardiac and head and neck cancer conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of patients with varied respiratory and cardiac presentations, including those undergoing cardiothoracic or major general surgery.
- Monitor and provide appropriate physiotherapy services to the adult Intensive Care Unit.
- Liaise with nursing staff and assess or deal appropriately with any new admissions not included on your handover list.
- Ensure effective communication and management of clinical risk within your caseload.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Proven broad experience in the field of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, including acute respiratory, critical care, general surgery, and general medical caseloads.
