Wildlife Conservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Wildlife Conservation Specialist to join our team at Knowsley Safari in Merseyside.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for the care and well-being of our ungulate animals, ensuring their health and safety is maintained at all times.
The position involves caring for a variety of species, including deer, antelopes, and other ungulates.
A key aspect of this role is providing high-quality animal care, which includes feeding, cleaning, and maintaining enclosures.
Responsibilities:- Care and maintenance of animal enclosures, including cleaning and enrichment activities
- Daily animal feeding and husbandry tasks
- Monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns to senior staff
- Animal-based qualification or equivalent experience
- Full driving licence and ability to drive tractors and off-road vehicles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
The salary for this position is estimated to be between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
