About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Nursery Nurse to join our dynamic team on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our smallest and sickest babies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for neonates and their families in conjunction with qualified nursing staff.
  • Support mothers with their infant feeding choices and provide education on breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
  • Assist with clinical procedures under the supervision of qualified staff and maintain accurate records of all care given.
  • Liaise with the Family Care Team and Neonatal Outreach Team to promote parent education and discharge planning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, relatives, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
