Job Summary

Utah State University is seeking a qualified English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor to teach an 8-week course designed for adult beginners. The instructor will be responsible for preparing class materials, teaching, and working with students 2-3 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Certification to teach ESL
  • Ability to present material in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
