Job Summary

Utah State University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor to join our team. As an ESL Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and working with students to improve their English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans to students of varying English proficiency levels
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve language skills
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in TESL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
  • TEFL or TESOL certification
  • 2+ years of experience teaching ESL to adult learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
