Academy Business Manager

Aspire People is working closely with several schools in Peterborough to recruit a Business Manager to work on a temporary, ongoing basis with the potential for a permanent opportunity. The successful candidate will have strong experience working as a School Business Manager or in a senior finance-related position within education.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate and influence strategic decision-making within the school's Senior Management/Leadership Team
- Take delegated responsibility for financial and other decisions in the absence of the Head Teacher
- Plan and manage change in accordance with the school development/strategic plan
- Lead and manage all school support staff
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one for the role
As a Business Manager, you will be expected to perform as if you were a permanent member of staff. You will be supported by Sarah Grimes, Aspire People's Office & Technical consultant for the Peterborough and Northamptonshire areas.
