About the Role

Mace is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
  • Support the long-term success of planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs, and the overall contribution to the broader company goals.
  • Support the planning function in ensuring projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
  • Lead the application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with the client and other project stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Manage a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.
Requirements
  • Exposure of working as a Primavera P6 project planner on large-scale civil engineering/infrastructure projects ideally for a tier 1 contractor or a client-side consultancy.
  • A construction-related degree (civil/structural engineering, or construction/project management or equivalent).
  • Digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams.
  • Experience of working on large projects/programmes.
  • A construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
