About the Role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Business Analyst to join our team at UK Power Networks, responsible for supporting our cyber projects and working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and experience of collaborative working within a diverse team.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000.00 per annum, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience, plus a bonus of 7.5% and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Cyber Security Projects Manager and/or PMO Manager in developing and delivering a range of services supporting the business
  • Undertake analysis to understand how a department works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data, and technology
  • Identify and elaborate user and needs to allow design, development, and business change
  • Ensure new solutions and services meet business and user needs, and are aligned with organisational goals

Requirements:

  • Business analysis skills, using structured approaches to identify, investigate, analyse, and communicate complex business problems and opportunities
  • Experience of requirement definition and management, identifying, analysing, challenging, and validating business and user requirements
  • Stakeholder relationship management skills, identifying, analysing, managing, and monitoring relationships with and between all partners
  • Business modelling skills, modelling several elements of the business
  • Experience of business process improvement, working with limited direction to identify opportunities to improve performance within a defined project
  • Collaborative working experience, working alongside colleagues in a diverse team
  • Experience supporting the delivery of transformational cyber security projects
