Job Overview: UK Power Networks Solicitor

We are seeking a talented UK Power Networks Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with experience in drafting and negotiating contracts. They will be responsible for advising the business on compliance with legislation affecting our operations, as well as providing guidance on intellectual property issues. Additionally, they will lead negotiations with external partners and senior associates from City law firms, and prepare and deliver training on current legal issues to the legal team and business colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at a senior level. They will also have experience working in a regulated environment, preferably in the utilities sector, and be familiar with the NEC suite of contracts. We offer a competitive salary package, including a bonus of 7.5%, as well as a range of benefits such as 25 days annual leave, personal pension plan, and occupational health support.
