Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordination Specialist to manage the daily operations of our Skip and Hook Loader services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our services are delivered promptly and compliantly.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational Management - Oversee daily operations of Skip and Hook Loader dispatch and retrieval.
  • Customer Service Excellence - Ensure all deliveries, exchanges and collections are executed efficiently, on time, and to the satisfaction of valued customers.
  • Compliance and Safety - Maintain strict adherence to Transport Legislation, the working time directive, and safety standards, including the enforcement of PPE compliance among team members.
  • Problem-Solving - Address and resolve operational challenges through effective problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
  • Quality Control - Drive the performance of the team by maintaining high operational standards and making key decisions swiftly.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience - Proven background in transport coordination or a similar role within the waste management/recycling sector.
  • Skills - Quick and willing learner, able to take direction and work confidently under pressure.
  • Characteristics - Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity for lateral thinking.
  • Leadership - Strong character with the ability to ensure team adherence to all company standards and regulations.
  • Passion - Genuine enthusiasm for driving operational excellence and delivering superior customer service.
