Job Title: Public Health Nurse
Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team. As a Public Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality evidence-based public health nursing services to a defined corporate caseload, supporting and enabling families and children to make informed choices about their healthcare and promoting health and wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide quality evidence-based public health nursing services to a defined corporate caseload.
- Support and enable families and children to make informed choices about their healthcare and promote health and wellbeing.
- Lead on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme as defined within the service specification.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and partners to ensure a seamless delivery of services.
- Provide leadership and supervision to other members of the Public Health Team.
Requirements:
- Registered nurse or soon-to-qualify.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of 0- services.
- Experience of Safe Guarding.
- Understanding national & local public health agenda.
