About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Surveyor to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our Surveying team, you will be responsible for managing and procuring sub-contract packages, while gaining experience to take the next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analysis of tender allowances
  2. The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.
  3. Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
  4. Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
  5. Subcontract and Design Procurement
  6. Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
  7. Assisting with Cost Value Reconciliations
  8. Preparation of cost to complete
  9. Cash management and maximisation
  10. Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
  11. Provision of standard reports
  12. Assisting with Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports in accordance with schedule of accounting period end dates and deadlines

About You:

  • You will have experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor, specifically on Design and Build; as well as sound knowledge of JCT Contract.
