Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Design Coordinator to join our team at Bennett (Construction) Ltd. in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate design elements and interfaces for all aspects of a project, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Develop innovative design solutions to client briefs and contractor proposals, controlling professional teams and subcontractors.
  • Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and professional teams, resolving queries and issues promptly.
  • Review designs regularly, identifying potential interface problems and practicalities in construction, and resolve with the design team and specialist subcontractors where necessary.
  • Represent the company on design and build matters, attending meetings with potential clients and representatives, and maintaining the corporate image.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in residential or mixed development construction, preferably in a main contractor entity.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer applications such as Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project/Powerproject.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Able to interact professionally with clients, regulatory officials, and staff at all levels, including senior executives within and outside the company.
