Senior Homecare Assistant

About the Role:
- This position involves providing high-quality care services to vulnerable adults in their own homes.
- You will be responsible for giving and receiving reports on the condition and progress of service users, as well as communicating with them, their families, and colleagues.
- Adherence to health and safety policies and procedures is essential, as is maintaining confidentiality of service user information.
- Key responsibilities include supporting individuals with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living tasks, while promoting comfort, privacy, and dignity.
- You will also be expected to protect service users from harm, assist with risk assessments and plans of care, and support safe moving and handling practices.
Requirements:
- A valid Enhanced DBS registration is required, along with a care certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Mandatory training is essential for this role, as is a minimum of 6 months' experience in UK homecare.
- A driving licence is beneficial, and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.
