About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Fire Compliance Specialist to join our team at Element Materials Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customers within the fire door and fire stopping installations schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of customers in the fire door and fire stopping installations schemes
  • Plan, book, and conduct site assessments of installers and maintainers to ensure compliance with certification scheme rules
  • Record findings during client assessment visits and submit reports that meet operational target objectives
  • Review and approve responses to any non-conformances raised during audit visits within agreed timescales
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for certification queries from customers
Requirements
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to operate independently or as part of a team
  • Preferably a background in construction with experience working in carpentry/joinery teams and knowledge of British and European standards related to fire doors and materials
  • Full certification scheme training, including IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, will be provided
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK
  • Own diary management, with regular on-site work and one day per week dedicated to report writing
  • Ideal location in Hertfordshire region, Stevenage, St. Albans area
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer:
