Job Title: Food-To-Go Bakery Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food-To-Go Bakery Assistant to join our team at AF Blakemore & Son Ltd. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the success of our Food-To-Go department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality food and beverages to our customers, adhering to strict food safety and handling procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Upsell and promote products to customers, highlighting special offers and promotions.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines and customer service standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
  • Previous experience with cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system is preferred.
