Job Title: Motor Claims Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Claims Auditor to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Motor Claims Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our claims processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our internal claims processes, new initiatives, and best practices.
  • Conduct robust, risk-based audits across these areas to identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver balanced, accurate, and evidenced feedback to leadership and teams, highlighting strengths and areas for development.
  • Identify opportunities for indemnity savings and implement solutions to deliver financial benefits.
  • Manage root cause analysis for all complaints, including FOS, and recommend improvements to reduce complaints and increase renewal retention.
  • Effectively identify, manage, and report risk within your area of responsibility, enhancing the risk management culture within your team.
Requirements:
  • Claims experience and sound knowledge across Bodily Injury, with some knowledge across other areas such as Customer Journey, Own Damage, Total Loss, Intervention, Recovery, Third Party Liability, Credit Hire, and Bodily Injury (MOJ/Fastrack/Complex).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret MI and identify areas of risk and opportunity.
