Job Overview

We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gloucestershire, with a dedicated resource base for students with Autism. Our team of specially trained teaching assistants work alongside the lead teacher to ensure a low pupil-to-adult ratio, catering to each child's individual needs.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HLTA to support our students in achieving their developmental targets. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering one-to-one and small group sessions, assisting with lesson planning, and occasionally leading whole-class sessions when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the lead teacher and other teaching staff to provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Providing targeted support to students with Autism, helping them progress towards their individual goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification and relevant experience working with children with Autism.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including accredited Living Wage employer status, specialist training opportunities, and a recommend a friend bonus scheme.
