Role: Construction Work Pack Engineer HVAC
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Work Pack Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and developing detailed construction work packs for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Workpack Development: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive construction work packs for HVAC systems, including drawings, specifications, procedures, plans, permits, and method statements.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in HVAC engineering, ensuring that construction work packs are compliant with codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of HVAC systems within the overall project scope.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of HVAC construction documents, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and other relevant industry standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to HVAC construction work pack activities, and report issues/concerns with upcoming tasks to the Work Pack Lead Engineer.
- Education: Degree in HVAC Engineering or a related field, preferably with discipline time served and minimum trade qualifications.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in drafting construction work packs, with extensive experience in HVAC engineering, particularly in construction projects.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident use of Navisworks and IT/MS Office software.
- Awareness: Awareness of the UK nuclear site licence conditions.
- Construction Site Experience: Construction site work experience.
- Team Collaboration: Strong team collaboration skills.
- Problem-Solving: Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Quality Commitment: Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
