Director of Clinical Services

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Clinical Services to join our team in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the clinical services operation within our hospital.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical governance, with experience in implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patient care. You will also have a proven track record of managing clinical staffing, budgets, and promoting effective working relationships within multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for a candidate who can deliver career pathways to clinical staff, including talent mapping and succession planning. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a strong leadership style, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the clinical services operation within the hospital
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient care
  • Manage clinical staffing and budgets
  • Promote effective working relationships within multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver career pathways to clinical staff
Requirements:
  • Accreditation/registration with the relevant body
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and previous management experience
  • Desirable: experience of working within Acute or PICU settings
