Health Medics Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced administrative professional to join our Medical Workforce Team as a Medical Secretary. This role will play a critical part in the successful delivery of our HealthMedics rollout, ensuring that our medical workforce is supported effectively.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about administrative work and wants to make a real difference in the lives of patients and healthcare professionals. As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Medical Workforce Service Manager and other team members.
Your primary duties will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Medical Workforce Service Manager, including preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Acting as the first point of contact for HealthMedics queries, responding to emails, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintaining databases and systems, producing accurate and timely information as requested.
You will also be required to travel between sites, which may involve some evening work.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have:
- Previous administration experience, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A high level of attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
We offer a competitive salary range of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
- A permanent contract.
- Full-time, part-time, job share, flexible working, home or remote working options.
- Compressed hours.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a Level 2 or 3 standard of education (e.g. GCSE/A-Level/NVQ/BTEC) or equivalent experience demonstrating numeracy and literacy.
- Hold a Level 2 Certified English and Maths qualification (GCSE/Functional Skills).
- Have previous administration experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,500 per annum, based on average salaries for similar roles within the NHS.
