About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Professional to join our team at Chelsea Football Club. As a Grounds Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for providing support to the Grounds management team in the delivery of matchday games. Your duties will include assisting in removing ball stopping nets, pre-match, halftime, and post-match divot repair, divoting and repairing of pitches after matches and training sessions, undertaking general routine maintenance such as rotary mowing and drag brushing, and complying with all Health and Safety regulations and requirements within the Company and the responsibilities of your role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in removing ball stopping nets
  • Pre-match, halftime, and post-match divot repair
  • Divoting and repairing of pitches after matches and training sessions
  • Undertaking general routine maintenance such as rotary mowing and drag brushing
  • Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and requirements within the Company and the responsibilities of your role

Requirements:
  • Possess a passion for working outdoors and in all weathers
  • Be able to work in a professional and responsible manner
  • Have good communication skills
  • Personal qualities include excellent time management, attention to detail, and a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Able to work in a flexible approach to working hours
