About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, a leading provider of paediatric healthcare in the UK.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled physiotherapist to work in an outpatient setting, providing specialist care to babies and children with a range of conditions, including developmental delays, musculoskeletal issues, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for patients with complex needs
  • Provide expert physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and education for patients and families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including treatment plans and progress reports
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Highly specialist experience in paediatric physiotherapy, including neurodevelopmental assessments and musculoskeletal outpatients
  • Experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings, including NICU and follow-up of premature babies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
