Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, London. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children with a range of conditions, including developmental delays, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of paediatric patients to identify their physiotherapy needs and develop individualised treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and education, to promote optimal physical function and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote patient-centred care and empower individuals to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines for paediatric physiotherapy.
- Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in paediatric physiotherapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of paediatric development, neurology, and musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work schedules and priorities.
