Job Title: Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, London. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children with a range of conditions, including developmental delays, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of paediatric patients to identify their physiotherapy needs and develop individualised treatment plans.
  2. Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and education, to promote optimal physical function and well-being.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote patient-centred care and empower individuals to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines for paediatric physiotherapy.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in paediatric physiotherapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of paediatric development, neurology, and musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work schedules and priorities.
