Job Title: Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, a leading private children's hospital in the UK.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people with a range of conditions, including developmental delays, musculoskeletal disorders, and neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for children and young people with complex needs.
  • Provide physiotherapy interventions, including exercise programs, splinting, and hydrotherapy, to promote optimal physical function and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment records, including progress notes and discharge reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and treatment strategies.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a physiotherapist.
  • Postgraduate qualification in paediatric physiotherapy or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience of working with children and young people with complex needs, including developmental delays, musculoskeletal disorders, and neurological conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to participate in out-of-hours cover.
