Job Description

As the Head of Residential Property Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Conveyancers, Paralegals, and Assistants in Telford. This role is integral to the team's function and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of varying value and complexity, advising on a range of residential property matters, from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Maintain and develop a strong relationship with a wide range of clients and referrers.
  • Effectively and proactively manage staffing provision and everyday matters that arise within the team including, timekeeping and holiday authorisation.
  • Ensure the appropriate allocation of files within the team.
  • Be actively involved in the development of the department – this will include training and supervising, strengthening existing client relations and liaising with colleagues in other departments.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience working as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, and Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer in Residential Property.
  • Have excellent knowledge of relevant law and practice.
  • Pride yourself on being detail-driven, have excellent communication skills as well as motivated & organised team-player.

We are looking for an inspirational leader to join Talbots as Head of our Telford Property team. To be successful, you will have at least 5 years post qualified experience or equivalent in Residential Conveyancing.
