About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference by playing a vital role in Methodist Homes' work across Hampshire.

As a Community Fundraiser, you will be responsible for engaging volunteers both as individuals and groups across the area to raise funds for MHA.

You will work closely with all MHA services, building relationships and inspiring and empowering local fundraising to enable those who choose to use our services to thrive.

This will include supporting those who wish to fundraise In Memory and utilising MHA's fundraising products.

A portion of your time will also be spent working in collaboration with community fundraisers across the country on fundraising initiatives and guides which will benefit both your area and community fundraising nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage volunteers to raise funds for MHA
  2. Work with MHA services to build relationships and inspire local fundraising
  3. Support In Memory fundraising and utilise MHA's fundraising products
  4. Collaborate with community fundraisers nationally on fundraising initiatives and guides

About You

We are looking for a passionate and skilled community fundraiser who is keen to play a key role in building a local network of community fundraising volunteers.

You will be an effective communicator, developing trusting relationships and taking everyone with you on the journey.

You will work well as a team player, collaborating with operational colleagues in your area and the wider Fundraising Team.
