Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Part-time Patient Adviser to join our friendly team at Highfield Surgery in Leicester City.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system, processing personal and telephone appointments, and answering incoming phone calls. They will also be required to signpost patients to the correct service, initiate contact with and respond to requests from patients, team members, and external agencies, and perform various administrative tasks.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Office and Outlook
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to follow policy and procedure
  • Polite and confident telephone manner
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above)
  • AMSPAR Receptionists Qualification
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
