Kitchen Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Management Specialist to join our team in Derby. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our school kitchen, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality cuisine.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the replenishment of food supplies and efficient dismantling of work areas
* Develop and mentor the kitchen team, providing ongoing support and guidance
* Optimize labor, food, and stock expenses to maximize resource utilization
* Maintain consistent delivery of high-quality food and service standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience in staff supervision or line management
* Familiarity with working with fresh produce and ingredients
* Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Basic food safety certifications (NVQ Level 2, Level 2 Food Safety Certificate)
Compensation and Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate: £50 per hour
* Part-time schedule (30 hours/week) with flexible working arrangements
