About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Mental Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions, including those detained under the Mental Health Act.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of mental health services and policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways for patients.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council.
  • Approved Clinician status at the point of taking up post.
  • Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview.
  • Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.
