We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Leader to join our team at NHS Sussex ICB. As a leader in safeguarding adults, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safeguarding strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

About the Role

This is a senior clinical post that requires significant experience in supervising or advising staff in safeguarding adults. The post holder will develop robust relationships between statutory and non-statutory stakeholders to lead on and drive continuous improvement in adult safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of specialist areas acquired through post-graduate diploma or equivalent experience, as well as a deep understanding of current healthcare policy and its implications on engagement.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring NHS Sussex fulfils statutory duties and maintains compliance with relevant legislation and guidance. You will also provide specialist training and education in relation to safeguarding adults within and across the health services in Sussex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safeguarding strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Provide strategic leadership and expert clinical advice to staff, senior managers, and board members.
  • Lead on specific safeguarding agendas, as part of portfolio working, ensuring the ICB and wider health economy fulfill all requirements under the SAAF and intercollegiate documents.

We offer a competitive salary of £62,000 - £83,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible working, agile working, and a commitment to achieving Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2045.
