Release and Transition Manager

**Release and Transition Manager - Agile - Birmingham**
We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team at Crimson Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the deployment and transition process into business as usual throughout the service life cycle.
This is an exciting new role where you will take ownership of the release policy, including planning, scheduling, defining scope, raising change requests, and managing resources. You will ensure that release objectives are in line with both business and customer requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain the 60-day and 90-day environment release plans
- Manage and coordinate the deployment and transition process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful releases
- Manage third-party testing suppliers and track release progress
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes related to Release, Change, and Configuration Management
- Experience with DevOps or similar collaboration tools to deliver releases
- Knowledge of cloud-based Azure services and Azure ADO
- Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders across various functions and organizational levels
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (Agile/Waterfall) and testing methodologies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
**Requirements:**
- Strong Release Management experience
- Previous Transition experience
- Line management experience
- Experience with ITIL processes related to Release, Change, and Configuration Management, or project management expertise
