Treasury Manager Role Overview

This exciting opportunity within the AXA XL Global Treasury team is focused on leading the Treasury Front Office Cash Management team in EU/APAC. As a seasoned finance professional, you will be responsible for managing stakeholders across various business functions and banking counterparties, fostering collaboration across teams, and driving process efficiency through the adoption of new technology and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance principles in Treasury contexts and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Treasury Front Office Cash Management team in EU/APAC, overseeing all aspects of short-term liquidity management in the region.
  2. Foster collaboration with teams within the wider Investment Department and Finance function, driving integration and efficiency.
  3. Develop thought leadership on Treasury-related management reporting and broader cash-related analytics, providing actionable insights to support business growth.
  4. Drive the adoption of new technology and treasury products to enhance efficiency and accuracy in Treasury analytics.
  5. Manage relationships with key banking partners, optimizing AXA XL's banking infrastructure and supporting business expansion.
Requirements:

  1. Proven leadership experience in navigating global enterprises, with a track record of success in Treasury or a related field.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence outcomes at all organizational levels.
  3. Outstanding analytical skills, with a focus on detail and the ability to link results to broader business strategies.
  4. Extensive experience in the P&C (re)insurance industry, with a deep understanding of insurance principles in Treasury contexts.
  5. Relevant academic or professional qualifications, with a strong foundation in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  6. Proactive, self-motivated attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  7. Excellent time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
