A senior role in the Group Treasury Function of a fast-growing, PE-owned, personal lines insurance broker. Estimated salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum.

  • The position supports the Head of Treasury in delivering large strategic initiatives for the group. Topics can include debt structuring, group investment management, market risk management, IT infrastructure projects, and cash optimisation.
  • The role assists the Head of Treasury in developing and managing a well-governed, process-driven, and efficient Treasury Desk.

A strong Senior Treasury Manager/Assistant Head of Treasury with significant experience who aspires to grow into the Head of Treasury role in a large and growing corporate. They must possess strong technical and commercial Treasury experience and be driven to deliver 'change'. The candidate will need to demonstrate effective stakeholder management both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Treasury and be able to engage with senior stakeholders on technical topics such as:

  • Debt Facilities (Senior Term Debt, Revolving credit facilities, securitization, other)
  • Market Risk and Hedging
  • Investment Strategy (Credit Risk/Return/Liquidity)
  • Group cash and liquidity management and optimisation.
Role Description
  • This role involves evolving the Group Treasury function within a complicated and fast-growing group structure, working alongside the Head of Treasury and a small team of Treasury professionals.
  • The goal is to enhance the Group Treasury's capabilities to effectively service the group's Treasury requirements in an efficient and robust manner.
  • The successful candidate will lead and take ownership of the delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • They will manage debt funding facilities in line with legal parameters.
  • Liquidity management, both short-term and medium-term.
  • Market Risk management, forecasting, hedging, and reporting.
  • Relationship management with banks, advisors, and external legal experts.
  • Management of the Group Intercompany Framework.
  • Evolving and maintaining Treasury policies, standards, structures, procedures, and controls.
  • People management of the Treasury Team.
