Treasury Finance Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Group UK Corporate Finance team as a Treasury Finance Coordinator. As part of this role, you will provide day-to-day support to the Treasury team, responsible for central treasury activities including managing liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate risks, intercompany financing, accounting, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsibility for setting up and maintaining users on various banking platforms, reviewing bank-related correspondence, and dealing with direct debit mandates.
  2. Overseeing daily cash transactions and managing cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity for operational requirements.
  3. Setting up payments for authorisation and ensuring there is appropriate supporting documentation to enable approval by the relevant banking panel.
  4. Monitoring compliance with treasury policies, including system access levels and authorisation limits.
  5. Maintaining and updating documentation relating to treasury policies and procedures.
  6. Establishing and maintaining relationships with administration teams at banks and other financial institutions to troubleshoot transaction and other issues.
  7. Coordinating with external auditors to provide necessary treasury documents and explanations for annual audits.

Requirements:

  1. A basic understanding of accounting principles.
  2. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  3. Strong organisational abilities and a methodical approach.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Ability to address unexpected issues and find practical solutions.
