Job Title: Environmental Systems Manager

Pulsar Electronics Manufacturing, Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of ultrasonic instrumentation for various industries. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Systems Manager to oversee the quality, health, safety, and environmental functions within our Essex site.

About the Role

This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, and driving continuous improvement in QHS&E performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and maintaining company QHS&E procedures, investigating and resolving supplier and internal non-conformities, managing the yearly schedule and conducting internal audits, and hosting third-party audits.

Responsibilities
  • Approvals, including first off article inspection reports
  • Generate and maintain company QHS&E procedures
  • Investigate and resolve supplier and internal non-conformities
  • Manage QHSE yearly schedule and conduct internal audits
  • Host third-party audits
  • Update and maintain company H&S registers
  • Review relevant legislation to ensure compliance
  • Analyze and report quality & environmental metrics
Requirements
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering subject, preferably with an electronics background
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Understanding of hazardous area quality systems
  • Competent in MS Office applications
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and paid time off.
