Job Summary

Actemium Automation Eltek is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Manager to lead our hardware engineering team in developing cutting-edge solutions for our clients. As the Hardware Design Manager, you will oversee the entire hardware design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise throughout the hardware design process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and clients, to define hardware requirements and specifications for automation projects.
  • Delivery of projects on time, in budget, and to the agreed specifications through task and engineering process management relating to themselves and the members of their team.
  • Leading the drive in the department to improve Quality Systems and Standards, ensuring that the operation is consistent in its approach to the Quality System.
  • Coordination of resource within their team to maintain the required level of support for the project managers. Ensure resolutions of issues of work priority.

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
  • High level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
  • Experience in hardware design, including experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for electronic hardware design, such as IPC, UL, and CE.
  • Qualified to HNC/HND/degree level in a relevant discipline.
